geschiedenis

1977

Anziplast was a small, family-run business in the processing of synthetic materials. It arose from the timber business “C. Casier Blomme & Zonen” which produced wooden parts for the brush and furniture industries. It was a logical step to start producing plastics which offered many more possibilities with regard to shape and design.

The first injection moulding machine was purchased in 1977 and put to work under the new firm, Anziplast N.V.

1982

This firm then took over Ferdplast, a company specializing in bathroom hanger sets and coat hangers.

1988

Anziplast then took Novellit under its wings, being one of the first injection moulding companies in Belgium producing technical products.

2001

It was in this year that Anziplast NV merged with Plastics Tavernier Hubaux that specialized in making highly technical and automotive parts, thereby creating the new name of “Anziplast Tavernier”.

2004

In September of 2004 Anziplast Tavernier took over ‘Alcaplast' of Heule, this young injection moulding company is supplier and producer of various household articles and pultrusion rods.

Together with our 80 members of staff we continue to build on our promising future which includes the construction of an additional production plant at Anziplast in Izegem where the production of the three companies Tavernier (Pittem), Alcaplast (Heule) and Anziplast (Izegem) will be brought together.
